A notary public (sometimes called a notary or a public notary) in New Zealand is a lawyer authorised by the Archbishop of Canterbury in England to officially witness signatures on legal documents, collect sworn statements, administer oaths and certify the authenticity of legal documents usually for use overseas. A notary public uses an embossing tool (seal) to verify his or her presence at the time the documents were signed.
How to make an appointment?

When making your appointment, please provide your full name, contact details and an explanation of the notary services you want to be completed.
Where possible and before you attend a meeting, please supply the originals and exact photocopies of:
• The documents to be notarised
• Correspondence / Letters or forms of instructions that relate to the service that is to be performed
• Identification evidence such as your original passport or original drivers licence
How much will it cost to instruct a notary public?
The minimum fee is NZ$75.00 plus GST (Goods and Services Tax) and hourly rate is NZ $332.00 plus GST.
This is payable on the day of the meeting.
Our Trust Account Bank Details
We appreciate that clients, banks and other solicitors often wish to deposit money into our Trust Account. Our bank details to do this are set out below.
Please remember that you must include the detailed name of the client for whom this money is being paid in the bank deposit information, and we would appreciate if you could contact us with confirmation that the money has been paid to us as well. Without this information we may receive the deposit but be unable to establish who it is for.
